A few weeks ago, I went into the Apple Store to buy a bumper for my iPhone. I used my credit card to pay for it. I swiped my card, confirmed my information & the employee asked me to swipe my card again because he "messed up on confirmation." But he told me not to worry because it "didn't charge twice." I was thinking to myself, "What if he did charge me twice?," for a few days, but didn't think nothing of it really.
After this whole free bumper/case ordeal with Apple, in which they gave you refunds for recently purchased bumpers if you bought them with a credit card, or you could order another one for free. I got an e-mail confirming my refund & I managed to order a free bumper. For a few days, I've been checking my credit card statement online to see if the refund went through because I thought it would right away. Nope. It just refunded me a few hours ago. I checked my statement & saw that I was refunded for more than what I payed for ($31.74). I got refunded double that. That fucker did charge me twice.
I'm really bad at keeping track of what I purchase. It's not good, seeing as how I am using a credit card, which makes you more susceptible to fraudulent charges & everything. Time to put myself in check.
But whatever, it's all good. I got my money back. His name is on my original receipt though. Maybe I should complain to the manager.
